If you prefer the beach, you find a popular gay beach only 13 km from the inner city. Take a train to Klampenborg, and next to the station is Bellevue Strandpark. The gay crowd is easily found at the northern end of the beach. At Tisvilde Strand, 60 km from Copenhagen, you find another gay beach. However at the parking lot leading towards the beach, you need to walk almost two km to the west, before you arrive at the gay area of the beach. At Ishøj Strand, 20 km from Copenhagen, there is also a beach with some gay action. Go the art museum called Arken and turn right along the beach until you pass the stone pier. After the stone pier, you are likely to find surprisingly many naked men! If you prefer to avoid sand, go for Helgoland by Amager Strandpark. It conveniently located very close to the metro station Øresund, and it’s very popular during hot summer days.
